They love hanging out in their skull. Very morbid!

My computer and I were having a minor disagreement, but we've resolved our issues and now the photo should be there! Sorry about that!

Super cute, you're going to need a bigger skull soon! Zuul's presence is very ghostly. Great names; hopefully Notzuul's name will save him in the event Gozer comes by in Slor form.

Luckily it has a big hole in the back that they'll always fit through - I'm not sure why she decided to shove herself through an eye socket, but it sure was cute :)

Axies aren't very smart unfortunately... they will squeeze into the tiny hole until one day they get stuck, you should definitely upgrade that skull though because that is too adorable :)

Woof. I didn't know they were THAT dumb, but I believe it!! Thanks for letting me know - I'll keep it in mind with future hides!

Luckily, I'm 99% sure Zuul and Notzuul are both done growing and couldn't get much chubbier! They still fit (barely) through the eye sockets so I think they get to keep their beloved original skull. But again, thank you!!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
