They look different to your axolotl (A.mexicanum) as they are a different species called
A.dumerilii.

Oh, I dont have an axolotl yet. =/ But thanks for confirming that they are different. They are still pretty interesting though, since they have similar qualities. Im glad there are conservation efforts. I hate it when we humans make messes amd don't clean them up.
