Oddly colored JFB larvae

All my larvae are dark brown except this one:

Hmmm. I wonder what the adult will look like, take pics once it grows up.
 
Some of mine are lighter colored as well, Jim. I am curious to see if they will darken with age, be smaller, or if there will be other differences between the lighter vs darker individuals. So how many larva do you have/how many of the eggs hatched?

Hi Heather,
I have 7 larvae from the batch. They feast happily on live blackworms and are growing fast. One is much bigger than the rest we call him "Gigantor". Thanks again for the eggs!
 
It happens the same with my C.orientalis larvae....i don´t think it means anything...just a difference in pigmentation that will develop as normal when they morph. But that´s just my opinion. It would be killer if they morphed with a colour variation though. good luck!
