oddly colored tail tip?

i’ve always had this little bit on the end of mudkips tail that has been somewhat transparent and white looking. i know it’s not fungus, if that helps anyone determine what it is. i’ve always thought it was just an area that lacked pigmentation but i wanted to be sure :)
