i went to go feed today and took my cam along just in case-im on campus now w/o my laptop though so you'll just have to wait for pics!

i checked in on my arboreal fem and noticed right away 1 egg in the foreground-the log is wedged just right so i can get some shots of her w/o moving it, i also brushed away the soil from in front yesterday in preparation, she is a bit obscured by the set up-but at least i will be able to get pics of development of the eggs w/o bothering her. in the past she didnt mind me looking at them but she could change her mind. so far it appears to be about 15 or so eggs-one in a separate location from the others, and she is still there, upside down, laying them (or should i say hanging them??

) this must be a really long process-i will check back tomorrow to see if shes finished. perhaps she starts and stops-but i was under the impression they have beaded egg strings like necturus and attach the string parts to the ceiling of the nest cavity-so essentially a steady supply of eggs until they run out...but that wouldnt explain the lone one up front

anyways-yes she laid and im pretty sure they will be fertile since shes always been with her boy, i will keep you guys posted....
