Hey I am finally getting the hang of the axie pic tacking here are some of my recent one

Hey, that thermometer that you have, I had one of those, I was taking it out of the tank, and it just barely tapped the side of the tank and shattered on the bottom. They're not very good thermometers. Right now I just have this crappy plastic one. It works great, but looks really bad. The brown and gold axies really blend together nicely. Take baby pics if you have babies!

I heard of a guy once whose thermometer broke and the alcohol in it started to leak out then his axies died

See how there gills are bent forward a bit should I be to worried about that I have turned down the water flow maybe that will stop it.

Is their tails curled at the ends? I think if you just keep the water flow down, enough so they don't get blown about and it's a peaceful current, they will be fine I think. http://axolotls.org/health.htm
here is a link that will further help you. It really helps to have the filters with the ajustible flow on them. I hate those filters where you can't make options! Options are important dang nabit!

It's nearly 8 in the morning! I don't know what sleep is, I was up all night. What is sleep? I have heard of this sleep... Need to get me some of that...

Nice pictures. Is that white stuff on your brown axies mouth fungus? I cant really tell because of the picture. But nice axies and my wildtypes gills where really curled forward when I got him, but now they are back to normal now that hes in my tank.

Nah no fungus it's just the pic is a bit blurred. About the gills I have had her 6 years now (around 3 when I got her) and her gills have always been like that and not a problem. Although when I first purchased her she got fungus but that would have been the water quality, my other one died though it was an albino and I to think would still have it today

i like the way they curl it makes her diferent she looks a bit like a dog too

Nathan, here is a drawing I did of some Axies. The black one is Grimace Gargamel, My Black axie! I drew these for my friend in Ireland, i am going to send them to her shortly.

The pic of the Dragon in the last picture is a new character sketch idea for Laguna my white Dragon. I forgot to add his wiskers, oh well. The other characters are my main characters, they tie in with the white Axolotl Dragon.

They are great Rheann you have a real talent, all my drawings don’t turn out to good. Did you use charcoal with the color (or colour as you would spell it) of grimace it is very effective like that. All the charters how do (or are) they tie in together (book novel etc)

Nathan, Your axies look great, i love the colour of the brown one, she's gorgeous! What are their names?

well, Laguna is mentioned in the first story by Ora who is talking to Shane about a legend of sorts. Laguna comes in the second story, but I don't want to give too much away, because i plan to get his book on the shelves, and everyones going to have to read it! I am still working on a good title, but the second book will be titled Lapis, if that helps any. I used Prisma colored pencils to do the coloring, and the white shiny highlighting on Grimace is white Gel pen. I use a lot of Gel pens. That picture of Ruga I posted was nearly done all in Gel pen, every bit of it but his skin color.

if you have any suggestions please let me know that would be great. Just to make it tricky prefer it if they had a z in them (long story)

male: zack, this is one of the names i had thought of before same spelling and everything)
female:zoey, i would have chozen fritz but i dont see my axolotl like that she is a bit old maybe for my next female i get...
