I have a 20g Long tank that has a couple of live plants in sand substrate. I recently bought an air pump and air stone because I added filter media to stop the water flow coming out of the hang on filter (flow was constantly kicking up the sand). Since there’s no more falling water I wanted to make sure the tank stayed oxygenated, hence the stone. I can adjust the bubbles from 1 little bubble up to basically hot tub jets, what’s the realistic amount of flow to keep the tank with enough oxygen?? Pictures are terrible but I figured I’d try to catch the rate of bubble flow.

enough to break the surface tension but not strong enough to lift your axolotl up.
