Maybe it's just the distortion caused by the containers they're in, but it looks as though their snouts are assuming the dog-like shape of an adult's snout.
i'll try to get pics soon, they are longer than an inch long now-(i will try to get an actual measurement), great eaters, of the 6 eggs i had hatch i now have 4 larvae, 1 i lost during a water change (i think) and the runt died about 2 weeks back...the female never laid anymore eggs though.......
ok-i got some new shots! no ruler at hand so i eyeballed them against my finger and they appear to be 1 1/4" right now ...anyways, here are the pics.....

They look similar to fuzhong larvae, but the fuzhongs have a slightly greyer base colour and have white flecks all over their body. I'll have some pics soon. They also seem longer and flatter in proportion to the fuzhongensis larvae. Do they stay mainly on the tank floor or in the java moss?
How many eggs did the female lay in the end?
