Paper - soil moisture preference of Ambystoma opacum

Hi all

I came across this paper and thought it might be of interest to those keeping this species. As well as looking at how wet this species likes its substrate to be, the authors show that soil moisture has nothing to do with how females decide on nesting sites; i.e. they don't find vernal pools by finding moister areas.
