Nice article. I like this approach, as compared to the commercial-scale composters that are sold (and very pricey).
 
I can see it now: Tiger Fattening Farm. Beds of worms on a crop rotation with beds of tiger salamanders :bowl::D:bowl:

Heck, I am thinking of building one and selling the extras as bait to help fund my collection of pets....lol

I grew up within mountain biking distance of the Behrend campus up in Erie, but it has been many years since I actually lived there.;)
