Could someone please tell me what the Ph range for an axolotl tank should be?

6.5 - 8. but 7.4-6 is best.

That's good then. I am currently setting up a tank (see the topic 'Death in my Absense' in the forum Sick Axie) and the pH is around 7.4. So looks like everything is good in that department.
