Hi guys! Just curious if anyone has thoughts on this guy. When he was hatched, I noticed he has copper eyes, and put him in my tubs with my baby coppers. But as he grew bigger, he never developed spots. So I put him with the Leucistic clutch. But, he doesn't quite match them either. I thought I made a mistake and put him in the wrong clutch, but now I think he's just something different. Initially he looks like a regular Leucistic, but when you look at him close, he does have the (normally copper) silver eyes with the red pupil. So...... Thought? Silver eyed leucistic?

Do you know what the parents were? Could be a copper leucisitc - it's only obvious in the eyes unless they have a good few freckles.

Either 2 wild het for copper, or wild het copper X mel leucistic. That's the only 2 combinations it could be, I'm just not sure which clutch it was hatched with because I second guessed myself and kept switching it back and forth. So most like the wild het copper and mel leucistic though. It's a lot slower growing than its siblings. It's about 2.5-3" while everyone else is roughy 3.5"
I didn't realize there was a copper leucistic....

Sorry, forgot to respond about freckles, not a freckle or spot to be seen. Pure leucistic looking body, but not leucistic eyes...
