Phone camera - surprising huh! My son took the "close-up" pic with his enVTouch (LG) and I took the others with an LG-ux9200m. THe enVTouch takes much better pics.
The tank is 10g. Indigenous plants are used (except for the ivy which I don't think is pictured), and madrona wood. I am trying to get a decent full tank shot, but since it is old and scratched it just isn't working out. I have several large tanks which I will design/furnish this spring. A friend of mine cut down a huge madrona tree and I was fortunate enough to get to pick out some choice pieces - and I mean "choice"!!!! Can't wait to use them for my future terrarium set-ups! So glad that you all are enjoying the amateur pics.
Hi does anyone know if jungle fungus clear is safe to use for my axolotl? She has some either fungus or bacterial growth on her fillibrae and maybe body and I read that's good to use if you aren't sure if the problem is bacterial or fungal
Hi Delaney. Can you be more specific? There are lots of reasons for cloudy water, such as substrate getting kicked up, water hardness, etc. if you don’t have hard water and it doesn’t settle then I’d do a water change and see if that helps.
Hey guys... Hope you all keeping well... I have 4 fire belly newts and one looks very bloated... I have seperate him and moved him to his own enclosure so he can get better hopefully but I don't have a filter in this specific enclosure. Please can you guys advise if I need to get him one or whether I can leave it? I have read a lot of articles that say they prefer still water and I can change his water frequently keeping it clean. Please advise
