Hi, I got 2 firebellied newt about 3 weeks ago, they are full grown so im thinking they are returns to the fish store, they said to feed them frozen bloodworms, but they havent seemed to have eaten any yet, we feed them about every 3-4 days. They seem very happy other wise! Should we try switching their food??

Hi,
there is no problem, you can keep that alimentation, however you can add other foods to your diet, such as for example earthworms.
Sometimes gives the idea that they do not eat, but eat, believe! If you give food to a recipient or part of the aquarium without substrate will notice. Sometimes while you are acclimatized to the new setup will not eat or eat less.
I hope I helped!

Try some live food. They probably will accept that. Aslo it's more natural.

i dont know if they are going in the water or not but mine are living very successfully on mosquito larvae water daphnia and aphids at the moment live is better and variation is seasonal
