Plants for my Taricha Torosa...

I just got a 20L for my Oregon newts and I need to know if anyone can give me some suggestions for planets for my water are and my land area. Thank you.
 
If it's an 'oregon newt', it's doubtably torosa. It's probably T. granulosa. Post pictures and we can tell you.

As for plants, water: use elodea, hornwort, anubias, there are lots of posts on this. On land, pothos, creeping jenny, various types of ferns and such work fine.
