I live in Columbia, MD (zone 7) and decided to dig a pond in yard to make a amphibian habitat (no fish). What plants should i plant in and around it? I'm hoping it will eventually house newts and toads. I also want o plant a bog garden nearby with a lot of cover and maybe some carnivorous plants. Any help on what plants to use and a source for critters would be great. Thanks!
