Who has successfully bred newts in plastic containers?
I know almost everyone uses glass aquariums since they are nicer looking and clearer, however, for breeding purposes, aren't plastic bins more practical? I was at my local hardware store and they have plastic bins about the size of a 20gl glass aquarium for a quarter of the price.

I use an assortment of food safe tubs to hold some of my animals, and raise their offspring. I prefer glass to be honest, but the tubs are easier for me to move about.

I have used lots of different tubs, i currently use realy useful tubs for both terrestral and aquatic, they have very good lids,

I only use plastic tubs for raising youngsters, both aquatic and terrestrial.
