Question: I only keep axolotls. Is my data on what I am keeping likely to bias the gathered data in the "wrong" direction? I.e., are you only looking for data from people who keep affected species?

No, all salamander keepers. It is very probable that this regulation will be extended to other species.

It's very encouraging to see the continued effort being put into a more rational compromise. No doubt it may come neither quickly nor easily, but if we are persistent, professional, and well reasoned, we can at least have hope. I think anyone impacted in a professional capacity will be especially important.
