Meet Hannibal, one of 8 larves I have. He's now 6cm. Two others are just as big, the smallest is 4.5cm; the rest somewhere in between.
Sorry I can't take great pictures, but I'm sure these will do for now.

And you're right Ruben, even with a tummie close to exploding they will be willing to eat some more indeed.
 
Yes . You know? I have seen , two years ago in a lake a Pleurodeles waltl adult trying to eat , out of the water , a great common frog dead !!!
There are Pleurodeles very bigs in my region , amazing...
 
Is easy to find in my region Pleurodeles waltl of 30 cm . Is one of the most north places in the distribution of Pleurodeles .
