I'm interested in hearing from anybody working witj P. poireti. I have an opportunity to obtain some of these.
How do they compare to waltl? Are their 3 species of Pleurodeles or only 2? What do you think is a fair price for me to spend for adult P. poireti.

It´s 3 species... P.waltl, P.poireti and P.nebulosus.
As far as i´ve heard P.poireti is very rare indeed, and the animals that used to be sold as poreti were in fact identified as P.nebulosus. I don´t know where your animals come from but they have a bigger chance of being nebulosus.
Here in europe, some people keep them and the general opinion appears to be that they are as easy as P.waltl, so they should do very well.
