After all this time, Bobo finally got some gravel out of his system. The gravel was from way back when I got him from the pet shop. The shop kept him in a tank with gravel and gold fish. Poor little guy and he just today passed it through so I washed it off and took a picture of it.

It's almost an inch in size when both pieces are placed next to each other! It's just awful, and I hope I don't fine anymore. I also found various smaller pieces, but I guess they couldn't get through because of the bigger ones.

I can't imagine the pain he must have been through trying to pass them. He was always very sickly and wouldn't eat much. I think he's pretty warn out today from it, and I just feel so badly fro him.

It really irritates me that this happened to him. I'm worried about him even more now.

Rheann, now that it's out, I bet you'll see his appetite pick up.

hi
i have had same problem, mines still pooing gravel a bit, but his appitite is so much better, i have got him a friend who was in a tank with other axies stuffing their tummies with gravel. im very new to axies but its so clear gravel is bad how do you educate pet shops? thinking of doing a mail drop with breif care guide.

Elsa still pops out the odd piece of gravel, 3 years after she came out of the pet shop.

Every axie i've ever got from a petshop has always pooped out at least 3 pieces but usually 5 or more.

Its scary, poor little guys!

Its amazing how long they can hang on to it.

I hope bobo's appetite picks up, he's probably feeling a lot lighter on his feet now.
