Hi y’all I have a million questions. I currently have a 7inch axolotl who has these red dots all over his body. He looks like he has the chicken pox. After a crap ton of research I think it’s a bacterial infection. He is currently tubbed with with furan 2
now I read somewhere to split the does in half so I did. Now his activity level is high. He eats and poops just not really much in the tub he hates the tub. Water parameters are all good. His tank is a little warm last couple days around 68. But getting that taken care of.
so my questions are
1. Was splitting the medication the right thing to do?
2. How do I know it’s working?
3. Do I need to do anything to the tank? (Been doing 25% water changes every other day)
4. How do I keep him from stressing out in the tub?
Any and all advice is welcome. I don’t want him to get so sick he can’t come back from it.
