So we have had this little guy for a while now, since he was an egg, its been several months and feels like ages. He has a problem with his face and gills..his bottom jaw is basically inverted and sunken in and his actual gills (not the cute tendril gills on the top of his head) have been stuck out for months...he can't eat because of it and is slowly just starving to death despite our efforts to feed him various things...
It's breaking my heart to think he is slowly suffering, my cat had kidney disease and couldn't keep food down so he refused to eat pr drink and slowly starved to death because my parents couldn't handle putting him down and its a very sensitive thing for me..I can't bear to think about our lil guy starving to death but there's nothing we can do...we work minimum wage jobs and aim a full time student so we can't afford a special vet visit and doubt there would be a fix for his jaw and gills anyway...
Any ideas of how to humanely put him down with minimal suffering? I'm a weenie and can't handle much...
