Hi all!
I am new to breeding and have a bunch of baby axolotls. I am wondering if anyone would mind sharing how they sell their home bred babies. I’m not sure if I should start a website, use Facebook and accept payments through PayPal, or if there are other alternatives that I am unaware of. I have done research as to how to ship them safely and have all of the materials I need to do so. I’m just not sure of what platform is best and of course I’m not looking to spend much money on a website as I do not plan to sell year round. Any advice would be very appreciated! I hope everyone’s year is off to a great start!

People do all of those, and more.
Why don't you look online to see what other sellers are doing, and see what might best fit your situation?

Thanks for the reply. I have done research, but it’s nice to hear directly from people what they do and what they like about it. Just thought it would be helpful to hear from this community.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
