So I worked in a garden and found a myriad of lovely bugs, grabs, and things.... so I tried offering them to my young axolotl, and she ate all of them. Im just wondering if there are any bugs or larvae that are bad for her, or toxic at all. I only gave her fairly soft, usually larval insects including: potato bugs, cabbage worms, bagworms, japanese beetle larvae, emerald beetle grubs, small caterpillars, squash borers.... Are any of these bad? Thanks!

You shouldn't be feeding any old bug/insect to your Axolotl. Does the garden have any chemicals used on the soil or plants? Bugs and insects can ingest these toxic substances which would be passed onto your Axolotl, as well as the bug/insect being toxic or poisonous its self.
