After reading this article I got to wondering if any instances of gynandromorphism has been identified in the chimeric GFP axolotls floating around the planet.
A bit of research did not turn up anything on the subject. I ask this only as the cause of gynandromorphism sounded very, very much to me like the explanations I have read for chimeras in axolotls.
Or perhaps I have been hitting the sleep deprivation/coffee/ brine shrimp hatching a bit too much...
