Hello and welcome to the forum!

Very interesting questions, indeed. I'm sure our experts here will be helpful! :)

As for the blood, it's red if I'm not mistaken.

again dealing with the last question first the blood is red and they have very large red cells, in larvae you can see them moving through the gills with a simple hand lens.

Vision is better in wild types than some mutants, albinos have to function with an eye letting in light from all angles! They have several eye pigments including one which is sensitive to ultra-violet and so they almost certainly have colour vision probably not the same colour vision as us! They have a lateral line like fish and good smell and blind axolotls get by quite well. Elsewhere on this forum there are posts about their good low frequency sound hearing.

I cannot answer definitively other questions, axolotls are not very bright but it is sensible to treat them as capable of feeling pain.

interesting questions, would love the answers to most of them too

1. How good is an axolotl eyesight, can they see a good distance?

Their eyesight is very bad. Given that axolotls are able to sense electrical currents in water (though to what extent, I am not sure), have a relatively good sense of smell (enough, at least), and that they live in cold water lakes, possibly deep enough down that visibility is low anyway, axolotls don't need to see very well. I have often witnessed mine crash into rocks or decorations as if they don't even notice they are there. Also, they are more of a sit and wait predator, so eyesight is not necessary for hunting (though this is not true for andersoni, who seem to have better vision than axolotls. For sight, I would say the range that they can make out easily is about a foot. That's how close a worm has to be for mine to notice movement. Farther than that, probably very blurry for them.

2. Do they have color vision?

Most amphibians do. While I don't know axolotl eye anatomy, I would say that they do.

3. Can/do they get lonely when on their own?, i know some would say no, but am sure mine do at times.

No. They aren't social creatures at all. Saying that they get lonely is placing human emotions in a rather simple animal. They do not group or "school", so they are solitary creatures. They find no enjoyment or stress relief in the company of other axolotls.

4. What does an axolotl lung look like?, is it one like humans?

I have not dissected an axolotl, but probably will in the future. I've been trying to access some journals on axolotl anatomy, but have not been able to. All the rude mockups of the insides of axolotls that you may find images of do not contain their rudimentary lungs. But it is not like a humans at all, because they are rudimentary. I did find a journal describing the layers and cavities, though.

5. How does their 3 chamber heart work?

It works how a 3 chamber heart works in most amphibians.

6. How does an axolotl digest food?

All that seems to be out there is that it takes 2-3 days to fully digest food. I'd assume it digests just like most creatures. Some stomach acids and such.

This is an axie's digestive system:

7. Can a mealworm eat its way out if eaten when alive?

No. This is a common myth about mealworms. They may be able to damage the insides with a bite, but they won't be able to actually eat their way out before they drown/get digested.

8. How long an intestine does it have?

Cut one open and measure it.

9. How intelligent are axolotls?

Not very. They recognize the hand that feeds, or any hand that looks like the hand that feeds. They may be trained to eat from the same spot. Other than that, there is not much proof for their intelligence. You aren't going to potty train it, that's for sure.

10. Can they feel pain?

It is a vertebrate. It has a central nervous system. Yes.
Fun fact: an axolotl typically has 50 vertebrae, from what I've read.

11. What color is their blood?

Red.What color is yours?

There are many Axolotl that are happy in groups when raised together, I have a friend who keeps 5 together and there is no issue of cannibalism or stress and the majority of people keep Axolotls together from what i have seen online . Nothing wrong with a friend, just don't put a huge adult Axolotl with a juvenile he might think its a quick snack..

That surprises me about eyesight because 1 of mine always seems to see me whenever I'm even remotely near the tank.
