Illness/Sickness: Red dots?!?!

There are red dots on my axolotl and I'm not sure what they are from. Someone help please.

I haven't seen anything like this before so not sure I can help much. I would always check the water parameters first to rule out water issues and ensure good water quality for healing/recovery. hopefully someone with more experience can chime in and help you out more. I am wondering maybe some sort of parasite?

Just realised this is part of an earlier thread about fungus as well. A moderator may merge the two threads to make it easier. it is certainly worth testing your water to make sure water quality is good especially if you are having problems with fungus. What is the temperature of your tank as well?

My tank stays at around 62 degrees. I've never had any problem with any of my axolotls before. no one knows what this is. Not even my breeder

There fungus I looked closer and there is nothing there. Just lighter coloured gill filaments
