So as I check up on my red eft everyday for daily misting if needed, to change the water dish and feed it.So as I picked up his hideing log I noticed he was squshied under it! I freaked out and picked him up to see if it was dead.It was flat around the upper body and its head a little bit.It must of tryed to go under the log for some reason and got stuck.I now changed the hideing log into a small light weight corkc bark. After that checked back on it about an hour or two later he seemed fine! I picked it up agian to see if he was hurt but it seemed active agian and it only has a really small scar on it.It's back was also a little twisted but after a while i semmed normal agian. This just shows how hardy red efts are but also how sensitive they can be.Just thought I would share and also you guys fell free to share any other story that your newts had similair to this.

Yes I read your thread/link you send me and thats what happened to me too.He seemed to be moveing his limbs slightly and then I came back his head went normal agian and I was so scared that I was going to lose it and I was also mad for some reason as if it was my fault(but it was'nt it got under there by its self I'am 100% positive) and today I checked back up on him and it seemed normal exexpt it has scar's on its spine because the head was'nt the only body part squashed. It dosen't look deformed now and I thought after this happened my red eft was going to either die or become handicap/retarted after it but it seems way better.

Your right I really thought it's internal body parts where injured but it seems fine exept for the scars which should heal.
