Hello I have an Ambystoma salamander that seems to have an infected injury on its leg. Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? I moved him out of his 10 gallon tank and into a small container with wet paper towel as a substrate and some dirt on the side for him to burrow into if he wants. I am not sure if I will be able to get to a vet that treats amphibians so I am not sure how to help him. Any assistance is appreciated!
