Hi,
My 4 year old Axie (Leo) has what seems to be an infection or growth on his toe. He is in a 4 foot tank, and had a big canister filter and chiller set up virtually the entire time I've had him, maintaining a solid 16 degrees Celcius (~60 F). Testing the water this morning shows pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate are all fine.
Yesterday due to evaporation the water level dropped below the filter intake, stopping the chiller and filter for a couple hours until I noticed. The temperature rose to 22 Celcius (~71 F) for a couple of hours until it was brought under control.
There is a exotics vet close by which I will be contacting first thing Monday morning but was hoping for any insight or advice in the meantime. He has never had anything like this before, could it possibly been damaged/hurt somehow from rubbing on something? He seems fine otherwise.
If any more info or pictures are needed let me know. Any/all help is appreciated.
