So we lost Thing two to red leg. Thing one is being treated with antibiotics and is fridged for the moment. So far the meds seem to work but i wanted to know if anyone here lived this situation and how it went. His tail is very damaged and raw. We really don’t want him to die we are doing everything we can here is the before and now pictures any advice is more then welcome

Keep the treatments. Hopefully you find Thing Two. I know it's stressful to lose a pet, but I'm sure you'll find him.
 
make sure that the container he is tubbed in is glass as plastic can encourage bacterial growth.
on the information I provided for your other posting it had how the axolotl colony dealt with certain issues, ie. fungus, mold, red plague etc.. one of the first things they did was making sure that the axolotl water contains holtfreters solution (how to make it etc.. is also in the information).
to prevent spread if it is caused by bacteria some of the tail may require amputation, this is because some bacteria can inhibit regrowth of healthy tissue.

I am keeping the bin with that solution, i took my other hospital tank thats glass and i wil’ put him in that tonight . I don’t have a vet here that wil’ do an amputation 😩 maybe the faculty but i don’t know if they would take me. Luckily im in the vet business maybe they wil’ agree to take me 🤷‍♀️ This is such a nightmare 😢
