I'm in some desperate need for some intense help.
I got this little guy from a friend who recently moved out of her parents house, but the Axies stayed at her parents, fast forward to yesterday (3 month time period) when she came to visit her parents and her poor baby is looking like this; he's missing all for legs!!

I've really only dealt with small fungal infections, and I've never even heard of any Axie being hurt this bad so I'm totally clueless as to what I'm supposed to do, or if there's even any hope.

His name is Stumpy, he's a stout 2 year old male that's always been in good health, he's a bit smaller than the other axie he was in there with, probably about 1 inch shorter.

He's currently in the fridge and will be getting daily 100% water changes. His color has gotten significantly better, and he's moving around a lot considering his circumstances.

Axolotls have amazing healing abilities so He is not without hope of recovery. I cannot see any fungus on the leg stumps but there does look like there is a patch on the tail that has the appearance of fungus? There is a salt bath tutorial in the sick axolotl section but the thread below may also be of use

You are right to keep him in a tub and do daily 100% water changes. Keeping him in cool, clean water will give him the best chance of recovery. I have not had much experience with fungus but some more experienced members may have some more advice to offer :).

His tail does have a bit of fungus on it and so does one of his little legs. I've done salt baths for one of my own lotls before with success, I just didn't know if his injuries were too severe and if it'd cause him more pain.

Thank you for your input I really appreciate it!! :)

He doesn't need to be fridged - it will actually slow down healing.

You can treat fungus in a number of ways, look up the sticky on fungus for details.

He will regrow the legs eventually, but he needs clean cool water, plenty of worms and time to heal.

This may be not the best piece of advice but if you have problems with fungus make a salt bath, after the bath, remove the fungus gently with some tiny tweezers, repeat the salt bath the next day.
Sorry for the bad english.

was it on its own if so how did it lose its legs?

Thank you all for replying!! His fungus is all gone, and I didn't have to do any salt baths! I just kept him in the fridge for 2 days, but he's now out of the fridge and in clean water in front of the air conditioner with his tank mate I just got today (no worries, they're in separate containers!) to make sure he keeps cool. I bought some of the Indian Almond leaves that someone I spoke to recommended, and I'll give those a try. I also got some fresh worms for the little guy, he's so skinny I know he's got to be hungry!

The other axie that was with him is also now in my care. He's definitely quite a bit bigger, and almost just as skinny, but in seemingly good health other than that, no injuries or fungus from what I can tell!

bellyache, he was in a tank with his brother that was quite a bit bigger than him
