Riverbed Sand

In an aquatic tank, or a terrarium?

It should be good. To make cleaning easier and prevent anaerobic patches, I would recommend using only a thin layer.

For my aquatic juveniles, I use no substrate. The primary reason is that I feed blackworms, and they hide in any substrate. But also, having a bare bottom makes cleaning easier.

Thank you very much;). I am going to test this substrat, and if the food hides inside the sand too easily, I will remove it at all.
I´m learning a lot about newts, but also I´m learning a lot of English. As the popular saying is, I´m killing two birds with one stone.
