This is Rose, our first ever axolotyl, chilling out.
This is Rose after she's attacked an axolotyl pellet that I gave her.
She lives with Foley, who is black pretty much all over & very difficult to take photographs of because of his colouring. I'll keep trying & upload a photo of him when I get one where he doesn't look out of focus or like a silhouette.
We weren't warned about the really cute footprints & tail tracks that they leave in the sand... SO cool to look in the tank on day 2 to see that she'd explored far more of the tank than we'd have expected her to.
