This is the lungless sharp-clawed newt, found in the Ussuriysk National Natural Reserve.

This is a protected territory of 40432 hectares in the southern part of Primorsky Krai, in the territory of two Regions (Ussuriysky and Skotovsky), at the southern foot of Przhevalsky Mountains.
