Safe item for my Axie

Is porcelain safe? Ceramic? What should I do to Insure something is safe? I have this little tub I want to use for feeding her and want to know should I boil it? Soak it? TIA

wash it before hand any way but porcelain is quite safe unless it has been painted over the glaze.
