Salamander and Newt eggs NY

Does anyone know when spotted salamanders and eastern newts lay eggs in NY. Also with the warm weather could they lay eggs earlier.

Hi. they seem to be laying now. I have not specifically seen any salamanders, but Wood frogs and spring peepers are still mating in NY state (near Albany)

Any Ideas where I can find them on Long Island? I had them in a pond on a property my family used to own in Massachusetts but I have never successfully found them on Long Island, New York.
