So i have a pile of soggy cardboard in the yard because i find it easier to attract and find worms. after looking threw it today i found these eggs literally everywhere so i left it alone. Can anyone confirm if they are salamander eggs or not? Theres 3 species in the immediate area that i found.

I'm 99% sure they are slug eggs. Google image "slug eggs" and you can be sure.

Dear otter woman my thoughts exactly.

Those look like slug eggs to me, I found a clump of them after I was planting a plant for a landscaping job, And I thought they were salamander eggs at first too.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
