Ok. So I purchases my second Axolotl from a reptile expo it was missing some of its leg which is normal. (My first had that same thing) I put her in my large tank (chemical levels are 0 it has a water cooler attached so it never gets about 68 degrees F) a week ago I noticed this white puffy stuff growing on her limbs (not gills) I took her out of the tank and put her in her own. After a few days it started to get worse so I put her in the fridge and started doing salt baths 2 times a day for 3 days. It’s been 5 days and I haven’t seen a change in the fungus. I’m at a loss. One because I’ve never had to deal with fungus and two because I don’t know how long I need to do salt baths.

Firstly don't put it in the fridge. This is a life or death situation which often does more harm than good.

I would recommend getting some indian almond leaves as they are better for your axies and will provide better defense against the fungus. An antifungal treatment may be your best bet to get on top of it. I linked above a site which provides the best way to go about a almond leaf bath with times etc.

Thank you so much
