salvinia minima dying

i got salvinia almost two weeks ago and it is starting to die. Does anyone else use this in their aquariums? I am giving it moderate light for about 10 hours a day. anyone have any idea what I could do to save it?

On the other hand, the amazon frogbit is doing really well, my karelinii are laying eggs in its roots. I would reccomend it for anyone who thinks they would like lily pad looking plants in their aquarium.
