Yesterday I removed all sand from my 45 breeder and will never use sand for axies again. Such mess!!! What Do you use??

Sand!
It's never been a problem. I run the siphon over and through the sand, swooshing it about. It sucks out some sand along with the mess but you just tip it back in with the new water. I've never understood why people find sand to be difficult to maintain!
