Save My Axie _ Melbourne

Hi My axie has not eaten in 2 weeks she is still alive in the fridge and has a fugal infection on her back - is there anyone in Melb who is a specialist in looking after sick axies? I really don't want her to die.

Chris have you tried doing salt baths at all, 2-3 times a day?

2-3 teaspoons of salt per litre/pint of water for 10-15 mins max.

Yep but she still won't eat. She has fungus on the tip of her fingers now!!! I think it might be too late - can you put them to sleep anyway? I heard that if you slowly decrease the temp this painlessly ends their life?

She won't eat in the fridge, her metabolism slows down. Have you tried leaving her container out of the fridge so it comes back to room temp and then try to feed her.

Salt baths seem to be the best option, melafix is a good booster... dont keep your axie cold for too long sometimes a little warmer water can stimulate them... I ressurected my axie pumkin with slightly warmer water after chilling didn't seem too be working after a few flushes alternating between a weak salt bath soloution and "healthy" water might help...
