Can anyone recommend a good screen kid or screen lid kit for a newt tank please. I’m looking for something sleek and minimalist, the tank is frameless and rimless so I’d like something with as little impact as possible while keeping the little sods inside 😂

Thank you
My tank has a glass lid but I’m keen to switch it for a screen lid so I can transit wires out through snug holes. I’d also like to give better airflo
Update: I used a thing called jump guard which is a kit that comes with everything you need to make a really sleek, streamlined screen lid for the tank. It wasn’t expensive and I’m really pleased with it

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
