So my spotted salamanders are about 5 weeks old now. I've been feeding them BBS and, more recently, black worms. However, these hungry little guys have nearly depleted my black worm culture and I've been unable to find them in stock anywhere locally for the past 2 weeks.

This morning, during my 2 hours of research trying to find an alternate food source, I read about something called "gammarus shrimp scuds" (yes, feel free to laugh at my ignorance).
What are these, and would they be appropriate to feed five week old salamander larvae?

Alternatively, are white worms or microworms too small to bother with at this point? And, if anyone has purchased live culture recently, can you recommend a reputable vendor?

Also, I just ordered some daphnia eggs. I already have an air pump and hose and a tank and I think everything else I need to hatch them, but I'm not putting all of my eggs in that basket. (No pun intended.) However, can anyone recommends a reputable vendor for live daphnea? I see them all over eBay but I'm worried that they will come with contaminants or diseases or something and make all my babies sick.

Finally, I have had great success with hatching baby brine shrimp but horrible luck at trying to grow them out. Does anyone have any advice? Also, what do you feed them? I've tried spirulina powder, but the culture crashed and I have no way of knowing if it worked or not.

Thank you for your help!
