I am building so much stuff this week its making me crazy, currently I am fabricating a overflow for a large tank- but I need to use something that will seal the PVC and be water safe, ect. The silicon I looked at today at home depot was for plumbing, but said right on it "not for aquarium". However, I am not using it on the aquarium surface, but on parts protuding into it and below it. I am building something like this:
It is actually quite simple, it takes water from the top, and allows it to spill down, through the bottom of the tank, and through connections, untill it flows into the filter housed below the tank.
This is a massive headache as I only have a few days to get it done, and if I mess up with the silicone, well, you get the picture.
