I have an axie with raised patches of skin (see picture). Otherwise she seems perfectly happy - fluffy gills, active, eating well, tank parameters are perfect (pH 7.0, amm 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20, temp 68F) down from a pretty acidic last week (thanks to my weird building where the tap water just changes acidity sometimes). The other axie in the tank looks fine. I asked the breeder and she thought the marks look like nips or harmless skin tags. I've never seen the other axie going after this one, but they are in a 20 long together, which is a bit small now that they're adults so could be! Any opinions for or against the nip theory? Or info on skin tags? That one sounds funny to me.
