Hello guys,

i currently have a spare tank, pretty large size at 4x1.5x1.5 ft (67gallons)
i came across some Paramesotriton chinensis or fuzhongensis, not too sure.
and also some Axolotl.

i have some questions...

1) i am wondering if i can divide the tank into 2 sections using a glass divider.
one side for a pair/trio of Paramesotriton and the other side for a single Axolotl?

2) they will be sharing the same canister filter and chiller pumping/cooling the tank.
the reason is running 2 chillers will cost me a bomb. is this OK?

3) whats the acceptable temperature for Paramesotriton? if i set to 22 degrees it starts to condensation and water starts dripping everywhere.
i have tried setting my chiller 24 degrees and it is ok and no condensation..

4) i also plan to insulate the 4 footer tank, is Styrofoam board sufficient?

thanks

I'm not sure about keeping 2 species in the same tank, but 24 degrees is pushing the temperature limit, especially for the axolotl, who will be stressed having to endure that for long periods of time..
