i put my axie in the fridge yesterday morning because there was too much ammonia in my tank and he started getting what i presume to be ammonia burn on his gills and had stopped eating.
im currently re-cycling my tank to fix this but when i took him out of the fridge after a couple of hours he looked like this~
i thought it was fungus but someone pointed out that it’s his slime coat, and it doesnt seem to be improving yet, though i know it’s only been 2 days.
i’m really worried, is there anything else i should be doing to keep him healthy while fridging as the tank cycles??
