Has someone experience with newt shipping in Europe with a transport company?

Hello Uwe, I recived strauchii's from katharina with '' tierversand '' its expencise but it works verry well.

Hello Uwe,

I also got some animals from the said person, it was done by "GeoVex". I think they did their job properly, all arrived the next day in good shape. Think the problem is that pickup of the animals doesnt always work in time...

Edit : They did not do their job probably, but properly.

I didn´t find "tierversand" as a website. Govex is only in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, but e.g. not to UK.

Other suggestions?

Uwe

No i ment they ship animals in a legaly way. Mine came allso with GeoVex.

To the U.K .. i have no legaly idea.

I have received some animals from Germany last year, I am pretty sure via UPS. They arrived in great condition and settled well.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
